Assessor Sherry Smith
Sherry Smith serves as the Barry County Assessor. Assessor is responsible for determining the value of real property within the county for tax assessment purposes.
Clerk Joyce Ennis
Joyce Ennis serves at the Barry County Clerk. The Clerk's office adminsters all elections, voter registration, record keeping for the County Commission, and other statutory duties.
Collector Skyler Bowman
Skyler Bowman serves at the Barry County Collector. Collection of real estate and personal property taxes, distribution of tax funds to local entities, and management of delinquent taxes.
County Commission
The Barry County Commission meet every Monday and Thursday at 10AM at the Barry County Courthouse.
Coroner Gary Swearingen
Gary Swearingen serves as the Barry County Coroner. The County Coroner is responsible for investigating deaths within the county, particularly those that occur under unusual or suspicious circumstances.
Treasurer Gretta Tripp
Gretta Tripp serves as the Barry County Clerk. The treasurer is responsible for managing and overseeing the county's finances, including collecting and distributing funds.
Circuit Clerk Craig Williams
The Circuit Court is responsible for overseeing civil and criminal cases, including trials, hearings, and legal matters within Barry County.
Sheriff Danny Boyd
Danny Boyd serves as the Barry County Sheriff. The Sheriff's Department and county jail is in the process of moving locations.
Recorder Danielle Still
Danielle Still serves as the Recorder of Deeds. The Recorder is responsible for maintaining and preserving land records, property documents,to ensure accurate property ownership records and public access to property-related information.
Prosecutor Amy Boxx
Amy Boxx serves as the Barry County Prosecuting Attorney. The PA is responsible for representing the state in criminal cases, pursuing criminal charges, and seeking justice on behalf of the county and its residents.
Administrator Sam Madsen
Sam Madsen serves as the Barry County Public Administrator. The PA is responsible for managing the affairs and estates of individuals who are unable to do so themselves.
Coordinator David Compton
The Office of Emergency Management is tasked with preparing for and responding to emergencies, disasters, and crises and coordinating resources for effective disaster response and recovery.
